C. Infidelity DNA Testing - Part 2

- If the swab donor declines consent, testing stops at Part 1.
- Clients wishing to "rule themselves out" must submit their own swab (with

- Offices in HTA-compliant countries (UK, AU, IE, ES, IT, ZA, CA,
US):
- Full consent is always required for Part 2.
- Non-HTA countries (e.g., DRC, Kenya, others):
- Cases assessed individually.
- All countries may be assessed case-by-case depending on the
client's intended use.
- General Rule:
- No blanket policy. CSRs to evaluate and escalate unclear cases to
Admin.
- ⚠️ Where there is any doubt, CSRs must escalate to management.

- 🗃️ DATA RETENTION & DELETION POLICY (FINALISED)
- Sample Retention:
All samples, regardless of whether they were tested or not, are destroyed
90 days from the date of receipt.
- Data Retention:
Reports and associated client data are deleted 90 days from the date of
testing.
- Report Amendments:
Copies of reports will be retained internally during the 90-day retention
window to accommodate any corrections (e.g. typographical errors) that
may require issuing an amended version.
- Client Notification:
Clients must be informed that if they wish to re-test at a later stage, they
will need to submit new samples, as neither physical samples nor data
are stored beyond the 90-day window.
- 🧾 CSR CHECKLIST
At Point of Enquiry or Sale:
Confirm which analysis the client wants (Semen, Forensic DNA Detection, or
Full Infidelity).
Explain consent and documentation requirements clearly.
Provide a disclaimer form where applicable.
Clarify data retention and no storage policy.
Use the appropriate product name depending on the service:
- "Semen Detection" (no DNA)
- "Forensic DNA Detection" (DNA presence only)
- "Infidelity DNA Testing - Part 2" (DNA match & profile)
- Escalate to management if anything is unclear. No solo judgment calls.
