Question: I also noticed the note that your breed-identification database mainly covers European and U.S. breeds. Does that mean the test may be unreliable for pets commonly found in Asia, or is there still acceptable coverage for cross-regional breeds?
Answer:
Many pets in Asia—especially those involved in breeding or import/export—are in fact of European or American origin or follow these breeding lines. Therefore, in most cases, we do expect a good level of coverage. That said, for very localized or region-specific breeds, or for dogs with entirely unknown ancestry from within Asia, the result may be less precise due to limited reference data for these types.
