Question: Could you please clarify how the reporting works when the mother is carrying twins? Specifically, does the laboratory issue a separate report for each baby, or is a single report generated covering both fetuses?
Answer:
We will issue a single report covering both fetuses. For identical twins, according to standard requirements. A "positive" result confirms that both fetuses are related to the alleged father, while a "negative" result confirms that neither fetus is related to him.
